Step 1 — What triggers this notification?
Rule Name
Event Type — choose one
Radio Slot
Which radio/connection to watch for this event.
Step 2 — Filter: who, what, which channel?
All filters are optional. Leave blank to match everything. Multiple filters stack as AND — all must pass for the notification to fire.
Node Whitelist — only fire for these nodes
Leave empty to match all nodes. Add specific node IDs like
!aabb1234 to only fire for them.
Channel
Only fire for messages on this channel. Any = all channels.
Direction
Incoming = from mesh to you. Outgoing = you sent it.
Keywords — message must contain at least one
Leave empty to fire for all messages. Add words like
HELP or SOS to only fire when those words appear.
Keywords — suppress if message contains any of these
Add words that should prevent the notification firing — e.g. filter out automated status reports.
Hop Range
to
Only fire for packets within this hop range. Leave both blank for any hops.
Offline Threshold (minutes)
How long a node must be silent before triggering "offline". Default: 60 min.
Step 3 — When is this allowed to fire?
Use Do Not Disturb to silence notifications during certain hours or days (e.g. overnight, weekends).
Use Rate Limiting to cap how many notifications a rule can send per hour — useful for noisy rules.
Quiet days — click to toggle (dark = silenced)
Highlighted = silenced on that day. 0 selected = DnD applies every day.
